Silk Screen Apparel recently embroidered black polos for Reef Raft coral suppliers. Reef Raft is a trusted source for marine-life and aquarium enthusiasts and retail suppliers.
Reef Raft selected a very high quality black cotton pique polo shirt which we embroidered with gold and purple thread on the left chest. These polo shirts will be worn by the staff members of the Reef Raft retail store.

Silk Screen Apparel recently printed shirts for the Muslim Youth Group of the Islamic Center of Southern California. For decades, the MYG of ICSC has cultivated the American Muslim identity in adolescents and young adults. The shirts will be worn by the youth group members.

Each heather grey T-Shirt was printed with black plastisol on the front and back of the shirt. Plastisol is a very durable material or printing opaque graphics on dark fabrics. Plastisol inks are not water-soluble so they are extremely opaque and can retain a bright image for many years with proper care. Each MYG shirt features artwork with a tree and some spiritual writing.

Silk Screen Apparel recently produced a rush order of t-shirts for Rock Steady, Inc. of Long Beach with a two day turn around. Rock Steady, Inc. is a theatrical design company local to Los Angeles. Rock Steady, Inc. came to us with ready to print artwork and a stock of blank shirts to print on, which facilitated our ability to get their shirts out to them as quickly as possible. Though this is not our typical practice Silk Screen Apparel is always willing to meet a customer’s time constraints and needs when we are able to.

Each shirt features the Rock Steady logo in white ink and a larger logo on the back of the shirt. We utilized standard plastisol for this order which will last for the life of the shirt without fading. Look for these Rock Steady shirts at concerts and theatrical productions around the L.A. area. Silk Screen Apparel recently produced some beautiful shirts for the UC Irvine American Indian Student Association’s 10th Annual Powwow. The UCI American Indian Student Association will distribute these beautiful shirts for their Powwow coming up this Saturday and Sunday November 12th and 13th. Powwows are traditional gatherings meant to celebrate, honor and respect Native culture, and this special event is open to the public.

These charcoal grey shirts feature a gorgeous hand drawn illustration of a traditional dancer. Silk Screen Apparel utilized a fine dot screen in order to capture the detail of the illustration. Each shirt features three vibrant colors of super soft plastisol ink on the front and one color on the back. The soft plastisol ink additive is one of the many variations of plastisol Silk Screen Apparel can utilize to make your shirts stand out above the rest. Recently Silk Screen Apparel offered our customers a special sponsorship offer from AXE body spray. Any male group from a College or University was eligible for a special pricing on t-shirt orders featuring the AXE logo. Sigma Nu Fraternity of Cal State Fullerton used this opportunity to print shirts for their 2nd Annual Charity Car Show benefiting St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. As you can see in the pictures the AXE logo was small on the back or the sleeve so the college groups could still use their creativity and their own logos and designs to the max! But above all, the best plus point was the amazing deals these groups were getting! Shirts were priced as low as $1.00 for the Shirts + Print on front and back for the college group! Now we know that college students are on a limited budget, or broke , so this helped them a lot!

Some of the fraternities that took advantage of this are Sigmu Nu at Cal State Fullerton, Delta Chi at Cal State Fullerton, Phi Delta Theta at University of California Riverside, Lambda Phi Epsilon at Carnegie Mellon University, Phi Kappa Psi at San Diego State University, Beta Chi Theta at Cal Poly Pomona University, and Beta Chi Theta at Florida Atlantic University!

We enjoyed working with these groups and producing for them. We also would like to thank Axe and Apparel Media for partnering with us to spread the campaign!

For this job we used high density printing on the Front, where you see the giant “Ball is Life” text laid out on the full front. What the high-density print does is allows there to be an added texture and pop to the printed area which you would not get with just a standard plastisol. Also we did not need to use any base underneath, just some special high-density films and ink, and then applied it straight on with our special method!

Silk Screen Apparel recently finished a successful run for an up and coming maternity inspired clothing line, “Mama Mali”. Mama Mali is a clothing line created by two entrepreneurial sisters who felt inspired to start a business.

The UCLA Dragon Boat is a paddling Club open for students of all levels. They operate a dragon boat, which is a long narrow boat with space for 22 paddlers at one time! It sounds like a very unique and fun activity which definitely takes a team effort to win and to move the boat at all, you’d think. This was the first time we printed for the Club, and we made about sixty hooded sweatshirts for them so they could look good, look clean and match each other when they go for their next competition!

Hey there, we are still keeping busy as the month of November is coming to an end. Southern California has seen a wild 2009 in the t-shirt and print industry and pretty much all economic facets of business!! We have had wild ups and wild down times, but thankfully t-shirt are still pushing and working hard. We just sponsored some soccer Jerseys for my old School in Pomona, the City of Knowledge! And we were happy to do that, and see them sport their fresh new apparel all season long! Other Print jobs coming up are volleyball team shirts, the Doors Christian Church, an Arabic Line of Islamic artwork and more…. We love to mix it up and serve all communities with nothing but open-mindedness and an open heart!

The first ever! With an amazingly designed, professional website, full details about products and apparel, and much more! This is just the beginning of a lifelong company Inshallah that will see many amazing partners and affiliates, and of course happy customers along the way! We are proud of the progress that we have been able to make and look and will continue to work hard towards a bright future!
On another high note, the IMAM Eid Carnival was a blast! As was the t-shirts that we printed for my basketball team and the fans: TEAM UNITED! Our team took the title!! It was a tough and competitive basketball tournament and the fan enthusiasm was awesome!

I have just completed a very pleasing project for the Non-profit organization International Princess Project! They are a global humanitarian organization that fund projects to save Women in India suffering from Prostitution and lack of opportunities..International Princess Project tries to give these women a second chance, and I was glad to be able to do my part in helping them with a T-shirt printing job- 230 beautifully designed women’s t-shirts with 3-color screen printing on the front displaying the beautiful name and symbol of the organization! Once again I was proud to serve a non-profit in the Orange County Area with custom apparel designed to fit their needs!

I hope to expand with more of these kinds of organizations and supply all of Los Angeles with their gear and apparel!!
